Six Sigma Certification Information

A certified Lean Six Sigma Belt is someone who can demonstrate effective knowledge, understanding and application of Lean Six Sigma methods and tools to real projects. To become certified, a candidate must have an understanding of all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC process, and have a knowledge of the activities and tools to support it.

The SigmaPro certification scheme is designed to assess Black/Green Belt competences in three ways:

• Successful completion of an approved Black/Green Belt training programme.
• Review of project(s) carried out within the candidates own organisation (two projects for Black Belt and one for Green Belt).
• The passing of an exam covering the curriculum.

SigmaPro operates the following certification schemes:

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
