Customer Feedback

There was a lot of useful information delivered in quite a short time. I particularly enjoyed the chance to ask further questions and approach the tutor directly after the course.

The knowledge that I have gained will be very useful, thank you for an outstanding course.

A very useful course, lively delivery! I wish all training courses were like this!

Thanks again for all your help. The training went really well, great tutor also all our candidates commented on how well the training was presented and managed.

The course is brilliant and I am really pleased with the skills that I have learnt and cannot wait to develop them further.

I have been fortunate enough to participate in SigmaPro's Black Belt and Master Black Belt training courses. The instruction and materials are outstanding. SigmaPro consultants go the extra mile to assist you in your quest to understand the material and its applications. I would highly recommend these courses to anyone interested in developing an understanding of the Six Sigma methodology.

The course was both insightful and challenging and provoked a lot of thought around the tools of Six Sigma. The syllabus and mathematical content proved to be very helpful in understanding the rationale behind the various advanced methods of data analysis.

SigmaPro have worked with our organisation since day one of the implementation of Six Sigma. The entire staff have been exceptional in assessing our corporate needs, providing state of the art training balanced with real world experiences, all while making sure that a clear roadmap for success is laid out before us to follow. I highly recommend the services provided by SigmaPro. They are second to none.

SigmaPro's Master Black Belt Course was exactly what I needed. [...] most technically demanding course I found in my search for a MBB curriculum and the materials focus intensely on the statistical analysis foundations of the Lean Six Sigma discipline. My goal in attending MBB training was to go to the next level of understanding [...] and SigmaPro exceeded all my expectations!

The tutor was extremely professional and adapted to specific requirements of the class, excellent facilitator. Overall an excellent course.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training

Programmes in London, Birmingham, In house

Becoming a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Certified Green Belts are in demand because organisations recognise the benefits that experienced Lean Six Sigma Green Belts bring to the organisation. The combination of Lean philosophy and Six Sigma tools creates a powerful approach to organisation improvement, and statistics show that a typical Lean Six Sigma project saves over £100K for the organisation. The role of the Green Belt is to lead local improvement activity and support Black Belts on larger projects. Typically Green Belts carry out improvement activity part time, and will continue to work in their existing role.

GB Info PackBecoming certified requires you to do 3 things:

  • Complete training with a recognised provider
  • Pass the exam
  • Submit a successful project for review

The SigmaPro Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Programme

SigmaPro’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt programme runs for 12 days over 4 months in 4 blocks, with a gap between training blocks to enable students to work on applying what has been learnt to a live project. The programme covers the DMAIC methodology, is in line with the ASQ body of knowledge and is developed from the original Motorola model. The training is technically challenging and enables students to become truly effective at running improvement projects within their own areas of responsibility. It is not a “shortcut” to obtaining certification.

On the programme students will learn how to:

  • Support the introduction of Lean Six Sigma into the organisation
  • Tackle business improvement projects successfully using DMAIC
  • Lead improvement teams through the improvement process
  • Use proven tools and methods effectively to achieve sustainable improvement
  • Influence stakeholders and effectively manage the change process

The Exam

The exam lasts 2 hours, and is part multiple choice, part written questions. There is phone and email support during the programme itself to help you embed the learning and prepare for the exam, and tutor review sessions during each block of training.

The Project

We use a clear improvement roadmap for carrying out real projects. Your first project should ideally be carried out during the training programme and you apply what you learn as you learn it. Real projects are what drives employers’ interest in the certification, and what makes it valuable. For each student we offer a pre-course briefing to help establish personal objectives, and advise you on a suitable project.
