SigmaPro’s acclaimed Six Sigma Master Blackbelt (MBB) curriculum has been specifically designed to provide participants with an in-depth knowledge of how to successfully implement both DMAIC and DFSS in service and industrial organizations, how to coach technical practitioners on statistical and other quantitative methods, and how to lead and facilitate training on DMAIC and DFSS topics.  SigmaPro personnel have certified over 1500 Master Blackbelts, and our curriculum has been continuously upgraded over the past eight years to reflect the most modern and successful practices and methods.

Candidate Qualifications

SigmaPro trains and certifies only the finest Master Blackbelt Candidates.  All participants who enroll in the SigmaPro MBB program must meet the following criteria, which may be verified through review of references, resume, educational background and appropriate external certifications or credentials.

Possess a high degree of technical proficiency

Possess strong leadership skills and project management experience

Are adept at influencing others with respect to organizational change

Completed Six Sigma Blackbelt certification or equivalent with at least two documented projects

Candidate will learn 

How to quantify the impact to the organization for both DMAIC and DFSS initiatives

How to successfully deploy DMAIC and DFSS initiatives

How to coach and mentor Blackbelts, Green Belts, and even Champions on technical methods and project identification, selection and launch

How to successfully integrate Lean improvement techniques to form a powerful organizational improvement model that benefits all areas of an enterprise

How to apply advanced technical tools and methods in industrial and transactional environments

How to apply the DMAIC and DMADV methodologies in Strategic and Tactical Marketing, Portfolio Management and Sales

Software Requirements

This SigmaPro integrated Lean Six Sigma Black Belt  programme delivers state of the art training in the tools of Six Sigma DMAIC and our own proprietary methods.

Delegates receive a thorough exposure to the tools and methods necessary to successfully run Lean Six Sigma DMAIC improvement projects in manufacturing and service environments.

This 16-day training program is delivered in four blocks of four days to allow students to apply learning to a project in their own organisation whilst under the guidance of a highly qualified SigmaPro Master Black Belt.

Training is a mix of lectures, hands-on group and individual exercises to ensure rapid learning and knowledge retention.

All of our black and green training is carried out at Aston Business School Management Development Centre, the Midlands most prestigious business training venue. The centre has excellent conference facilities, on site accommodation for course attendees and has easy access to the Bars, Restaurants and shops of Birmingham City Centre.
